The message didn't come from Tewksbery's email -- it came from Eva Gardner who advertised the McCain event and suggested people contact Tewksbery if they needed further information. That's not illegal or unethical in any way. That's like somebody posting Sic Willie's email address on the bathroom wall and then suggesting you should not have allowed your email to be posted there. Sir William, that's crazy talk. Government employees can't control where their email addresses end up or what third party advertises them any more than you or I can.
