GOOD NEWS! THERE WILL BE A 2008 “WHO’S HOT AT THE STATE HOUSE” LIST AFTER ALL
FITSNews – January 10, 2008 – In commenting about his first marriage, legendary British rocker Sting is rumored to have once said “I evolved, people suffered.” That’s sort of how we feel about the “Who’s Hot at the (S.C.) State House” list, which is a holdover from the original Faith in the Sound (FITS) website. For whatever reason, the list just didn’t seem to mesh with the broader audience and classier approach we’ve achieved here at FITSNews (editor’s note: waiting … lightning … no? … okay …).
Yet like a swallow returning to, um, swallow returning to, um, swallow … damn we can never remember the name of that place the swallows return to … anyway, like a mythical return to our humble roots we’re pleased to announce that there will be a “Who’s Hot at the State House” list for 2008. In fact, we’ve already made several selections and are busy preparing the sophisticated scientific model that will render the most anticipated judgments in South Carolina politics since we released our inaugural Palmetto Power 100 list last year.
