AT LEAST IN SIC WILLIE’S IMAGINARY BENEVOLENT DICTATORSHIP …
FITSNews – January 8, 2008 – We were strolling through the Blogland of Earl Capps the other day when we stumbled upon this interview with Kristi Harrington, a Deputy Soliciter in Berkeley County (S.C.) who is being considered for some sort of judgeship. A single mother with a fondness for Stevie Nicks’ tunes (Gold Dust Woman, anybody?), something about Harrington’s responses in this Blogland interview made us think that – in addition to being smoking hot – she also has that intangible combination of intelligence, purpose and life wisdom that good judges ought to have, but sadly so often don’t in South Carolina. And as Rod Tidwell reminds us in the film Jerry Maguire, “a single mother is a sacred thing.”
Accordingly, in our own Sic Willie’s imaginary “Benevolent Dictatorship of South Carolina,” Harrington is going to be replacing the entire corrupt S.C. Supreme Court – all by herself.
The “Wonder Woman” outfit is optional, of course. And our only real demand is that she make decisions on cases and rulings based on their merits, not on political considerations. Unless our parking tickets are involved …

Kristi is running for a circuit court bench in the 9th Circuit (Berkeley and Charleston Counties).
