Matt Damon Is The National Champion

WE HAD NO IDEA JASON BOURNE PLAYED FOOTBALL, PEOPLE

FITSNews - January 8, 2008 - Despite the fact that there are probably a half-dozen teams with equal claim to college football’s national championship as the LSU Tigers, that didn’t keep Matt Damon-look-alike Matt Flynn and his Bayou Bengals from hoisting that weird-looking corporate-sponsored crystal egg that they give to the winner of our computer-generated “National Championship Game.”

LSU’s 38-24 victory over Ohio State was impressive, don’t get us wrong, but the only way a two-loss team should ever win the national title is if it emerges triumphant in a College Football Playoff.

Listen to us, NCAA. Your college football national championship is treading on some seriously thin ice these days. In fact, as far as we’re concerned, “BCS” now stands for “Better Come up with Something.”

And fast. Because the truth is we’ve won video games with more legitimacy than this year’s national title.

about as much tom foolery goes into the BCS system to determine the “Championship” as does to determine someone’s fico score!

i bet if the pullets made it to the BCS championship game, (yeah right) and won ( yeah, right, right) you would not question the formula. LSU is #1 for the second time in 5 years. Live with it. Geaux Tigers.
