FITSNews - January 7, 2008 - The gavel falls on another session of the South Carolina General Assembly tomorrow, to which we can only say “awwww, f*ck it,” people.
We’ve already expressed our thoughts on the upcoming 2008 legislative session (CLICK HERE to read them), but if you want a condensed version, here goes … courtesy of our own Sic Willie:
Basically a bunch of drunken rednecks will descend on Columbia, S.C. for the next six months to pander, play politics and pad their own pocketbooks, blowing billions of dollars of your money, attending as many free buffets and banging as many hot lobbyists as they can in the process.
The saddest part is that Sic is actually being optimistic. Anyway, here’s what the state’s most influential news outlet had to say about the impending commencement of taxpayer-funded adult day care. Have fun trying to count all the contradictions and clichés …
