La Socialista Can’t Spell
UNLESS OF COURSE THEY’VE CREATED A STATE “SCHOL” BOARD AND NOBODY TOLD US …
FITSNews - December 26, 2007 - Here’s some free advice for the editors over at La Socialista (a.k.a. The State noisepaper): If you’re going to keep devoting countless barrels of ink to perpetuate the myth that South Carolina’s public schools are deserving of our ever-escalating investment, at least learn how to spell the word “school” correctly in your headlines.
Seriously, what is ya, ig-nrant?
We’re all truly ecstatic to learn that incoming state “schol” board chairman Al Simpson loves him some public education (editor’s note: Simpson, eh?), but it’s probably not a good omen when our state’s biggest newspaper can’t even spell “schools” right.
Look, it’s nice to know that reporter Bill Robinson found time over the holidays to write yet another gushing puff piece on Superintendent Jim Rex’s utterly choice-less public “schol” choice plan (while continuing to ignore a major Department of Education scandal), but if The State is going to keep performing journalistic fellatio on the education establishment, “school” is spelled with two “O’s,” dumbasses.
UPDATE - A day later, these idiots still haven’t corrected it yet.

We’re starting to think sic(k) willie has the “hots” for Bill Robinson, Brad and Cindi. sic(k) willie has always been kinky.
willie, look up “typo.” It means, mistake, “…you ignorant slut.”
And, for the eleventyith Brazilian time, that’s a quote from an old Saturday Night Live sketch. Don’t take it personally, jerk.
Actually, it looks more like sic(k) willie is pandering to the ignorant readers, the sick, the infirm, the elderly and a few lame politicians and lobbyists with their fingers in the winds of the blogs.
Careful shaking hands, willie. No telling what else their fingers have been in besides the wind. But, let’s get back to the topic.
willie, you take SCRG carpetbugger money to keep peeing on the Education of all children. Of course, you pee on anyone, for a price.
You ignore the needs of all children to advance your money masters’ politics - (notice, plural possessive).
Let’s run through the facts again to see if you have the nerve to post them - again. Someday, maybe you’ll understand.
Here we go - the real problems facing education in S.C. are:
-poverty
-latent racism
-and, the host of related social ills that go along
Your carpetbugger voucher tax scam does nothing to address the real needs of the children your voucher scam would abandon.

Hah – “carpetbugger.” Now I have this image of Will and the living room carpet gettin’ all romantic.

Believe it Not:
The personal attacks on Sic Willie may have crossed the line here. I thought he should have attacked the ignoant La Socialista on their ignorant two part editorial Bill, Brad, Warren and Cindi posted today. But I do agree with your 3 part assessment of the problems with the SC Education. But blaming the Republicans is the wrong group to blame. As for the poverty and the “related social ills” groups of us wanted to put social workers from DSS in every middle and high school years ago. Richland County Sheriff’s Deputies have worked out great in the schools in Columbia. But the Democrat’s at DSS didn’t like that and Demo Tenenbaum wouldn’t allow it either. As for latent racism, that is so sad. Just look at RIchland County School District #1. Oh, my bad. You wrote latent racism, not blatent……

Al Simpson is a fine man, and will do a great job leading the state board of education. Just like Kristin Maquire will in ‘09.
Jim Rex is a douche bag. Take it from me, I know him pretty well. I used to like him (as much as I could like a democrat), but he has disappointed many folks with his pandering to the educrats.
Bill Robinson is a douche too.

Oh yeah. Can’t you bring those allegations about “public School innovation grants” back up. I really think you had something there.
I’m serious. A lot of people were taking heat about this prior to Christmas.

….but he can’t spell!!!

Pete,
You’re paranoid. Who’s blaming republi’crats? Not us. As for “crossing the line.” What line? sic(k) willie has no line. We honor that.
And, thanks for your “social workers” efforts. But what simple minded person ever thought “social workers” would fix things?
Finally, we’re all for putting police in schools. Make sure they lock up all the fools first. That will fix things. But, then who would run the blogs? And, who would post on them?
P.S. Hey Shoots, sic(k) willie has deleted some our masterful posts too. You’re in good company.

it’s kinda funny, will. they make fun of you but yet, they keep coming back for more..
By He shoots, He SCORES!!!!! on December 28th, 2007 at 1:57 am
We keep coming back, not for more, but just in case some newbie stumbles by and gets the idea that sic is well, as in not sick, meaning not well, which is definitely different from sic.
Got that right, didn’t we?
Editors Note: We ran this post through Will’s unabridged carpetbugger smell checker, ’cause those unemployed academy boys are smarrt, with two rr’s. Don’t take our word for it. Just ax ‘em.

well, thank God for HSHS and BIN, safeguarding the truth for all readers new to the blogosphere in general and FITSNEWS in particular. Why, if it weren’t for their heroic efforts, all those public-school educated, tax-paying working folk couldn’t figure out, all on their own, that half of what ANYONE says is bullshit. I for one am eternally grateful that HSHS and BIN, together with all of the other dems out there, are around to interpret for me and other Republicans what the “real deal” is, because, God knows, between going to church, homeschooling my kids, and listening to Glen Beck, Rush, and O’Reilly on the radio, I just don’t have time to think for myself.
So hats off to you, boys. Thanks for looking out for the rest of us.
