Just a note. While this is certainly a good cause, contributions that go directly to an individual or family are not tax-deductible. Just wanted to make sure your readers were aware of that. Not that deductibility should make any difference to supporters, but it’s worth clarifying.

We know you won’t. Here they are.

Would you be as touched and moved if Brittany was not so pretty, so blond and so young? What is she was black, 10 years older and 200 pound heavier? What if she had 4 kids when this happened?

Be honest willie. If that was the case you wouldn’t give a hoot. No way you would go to the birthday party of a 200+ pound black girl in her 30’s who has 4 kids and now lives in a wheelchair. No matter how “touching” her story was. Now, would you?
