PALMETTO SCOOP IS STARTING TO MAKE US LAUGH … A LITTLE

FITSNews – December 20, 2007 – Unlike the sanctimonious liberal bitching of websites like Not Very Bright, or the bought-and-paid-for insider drivel of blogs like Sh*t Politics, we try to keep things funny-licious around here. In fact, we just got a letter from the ghost of Richard Pryor in which he referred to us as his “No. 1 N*ggaz,” which pleased us immensely despite our strong disapproval of the N-word.

Anyway, as much as we still kick all the other blogs asses, we have to give a little credit to one of our competitors, The Palmetto Scoop, for “stepping up the funny” a little bit lately. The other day, the Scoop said GOP candidate Tom Tancredo’s “name ID rivals that of most unborn children,” and today they’re dogging out the former asshole mayor of Myrtle Beach, Mark McBride, for his ridiculous bobblehead website, which apparently he’s left up for three years after barely registering a blip in the 2004 race for U.S. Senate.

“McBride does have one thing going for him (in 2008),” the Scoop says. “By keeping his old campaign website active for the last three years, he has prevented Rep. Joe Mahaffey from cyber-squatting his domain name. Now that’s some good strategery!”

Nice work, fellas. Oh, and don’t look now, but the Scoop is even posting some comparatively-tame T&A lately … Sweet!
