WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON UP IN WASHINGTON?

FITSNews – December 18, 2007 – We’ve written in recent months about the sh*tty (and sh*ttier) approval ratings of the United States Congress - ridiculously-low numbers which make our borderline retarded president look positively Reagan-esque.

Anyway, we stumbled upon this article in today’s Chicago Tribune in which some Ivy League Ivory Tower-dweller actually hit the nail on the head in describing the situation:

“It’s paralysis on a historic level, paralysis we haven’t seen since the years before the Civil War,” said David King, a professor at Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government.

Not a lot of people know this, but Sic Willie actually has two degrees from Harvard himself. The fact that he stole them from his dad’s office in a fit of jealousy and replaced a couple of “sixes” with “nines” (seeing as he wasn’t alive during the Sixties) doesn’t mean anything, people. By the way, Harvard’s in Boston, right?

UPDATE – Whew! We can all apparently breathe a big sigh of relief because Congressman Bob Inglis‘ office just put out a press release about hydrogen powered forklifts. Single-handedly, this Messianic leader has restored our faith in government!
