McCain Gets First S.C. Blogdorsement
BUTÂ ALL ANYBODY CARES ABOUT ISÂ WHO GETS THE FITS GALS’ SEAL OF APPROVAL
FITSNews – December 17, 2007 – With only 33 days remaining until South Carolina voters cast their ballots for the Republican presidential nomination, The Palmetto Scoop became the first S.C.-based political website to offer its official “blogdorsement” for Prez-o-dint on Sunday. In a move that was about as surprising as the sun coming up this morning, the site endorsed U.S. Sen. John McCain, and spake thus of his qualifications:
He is the only candidate with the military experience necessary to lead America as we continue fighting the War on Terror. He’s an independent maverick who does what is right, whether it’s popular or not. He’s served his country for all of his adult life as both a prisoner of war and a public servant. And he’s by far the most electable Republican in the general election.
They also included a nice picture of Johnny Mac (above) that makes him look like he’s posing for a spot on the U.S quarter. Anyway, since the endorsement of former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney by his online South Carolina mouthpiece will no doubt follow, the only “blogdorsement” drama that remains is who the FITS gals will back.
Our founding editor Sic Willie has already endorsed comedian Stephen Colbert (who has since dropped out of the race), but the coveted FITSdorsement seal remains up for grabs … in both the Republican and Democratic presidential primaries.

Just what we need – another cranky war monger who is extremely capable of doubling our national debt during his tenure.
McCain could not even manage his campaign’s war chest this year- how can we expect him to do any better than George W. on our country’s budget mess?
I used to like him 8 years ago when he was a straight shooter- before he lost his way and his values trying to imitate Bush….
