Nobody Is Pro-Life Enough
AT LEAST NOT FOR THE ULTRA-ULTRA-ULTRA RIGHT WINGERS OF SOUTH CAROLINA
FITSNews – December 13, 2007 – We’ve made it a point not to follow the fringe drama associated with South Carolina’s ultra, ultra, ultra right-wing right-to-life movement, but after watching one particular activist drive around with a “George Bush Is Not Pro-Life” sign on his conversion van for the past seven years, let’s just say we weren’t surprised to see him similarly targeting former U.S. Sen. Fred Thompson on one of downtown Columbia’s busiest street corners this morning.
If Sic Willie wasn’t a complete and total retard photographer, you would see that the sign he’s holding in the picture above reads “Fred Thompson Is Not Pro-Life,” which is obviously intended to challenge the endorsement Thompson recently received from the National Right to Life people.
So is Thompson pro-life? Who the hell knows, people. Probably more than most folks, but probably less than this guy, who in all likelihood views male masturbation as an attempted abortion.
We’re choosing to focus instead on how awesome it is that Sic managed to snap a picture while driving his car, drinking a cup of coffee, smoking a cigarette and getting his morning “asset allocation briefing” from his Boston-based investment team – all while being serviced by two decidedly non-Talbot’s Junior Leaguers, no less. Congressional medal for courageous photojournalism? You know it, baby!
UPDATE – Here’s a shot of the “George W. Bush Is Not Pro-Life” van …

He lives in Cayce right outside of the Pointe West college apartments. He also rails against homosexuality and the war in Iraq in front of the USC library sometimes. Very effective…I hope people don’t lump him in with the legit pro-life movement in SC.

Ah, I’ve seen that van. I always thought it was a play on the fact that dubya couldn’t possibly be a proponent of living if he executed people weekly in Texas and then sent a bunch of young men and women off to die while killing off a bunch of other men, women and children. Now that I know it’s about abortion it doesn’t seem to make as much sense.

Is that the same guy who used to stand in front of the State House and wave a naked plastic baby and a coat hanger? If so, he’s come up in the world.

It’s the GOD HATES guy! Great big letters on his van say GOD HATES and smaller letters list all the many things god hates, homos, abortionists, wimmins libbers etc. I think he’s different from the baby-on-a-stick guy, who seems to be a single-issue activist.
There is no legitimate pro-life movement. They are all this guy in better suits.

Please take notice that liberals like to point to these types of people when making moral relativism arguments in support of muslim extremists. While this guy is certainly a nuisance and may or may not be violent, his craziness likely comes from something other than Christianity. just an observation.
