f the SC bar ass. and the SC Supreme Court. They are all a bunch of croakie searsucker fish belt wearin' dime a dozen douchebags. Anyone who lives in SC knows that this is indeed a coverup of the truth and that one douchebag will always help and empower more douchebags or douchbagettes. Rise up and vote these cronies out of office and maybe the good ol' boy system can get replaced with the good new boy system.

As a non-lawyer from a non-lawyer family I think the purpose of the Bar exam should be to identify and pass applicants that are knowledgeable enough to practice law and fail those who do not and would pose a danger to future clients. Those responsible for administering the exam have a duty to the public welfare to administer an adequate test and a duty to the applicants to administer a fair test. Do those undertaking that responsibility have those goals in mind and are they capable of achieving those goals?
Whatever happened regarding the Will, Trust and Estate section of the exam – a “scrivener’s error” or corrupt political favoritism - those responsible for administering the test failed to competently perform their duty. Even if the “scrivener’s error” is the truth and the whole truth, the test administrators failed their own test of competency.
As a layman I’m left in doubt of the validity of the testing process. Either applicants who should have passed were initially failed or applicants who should have failed were “illegally” passed. I don’t understand the explanation offered enough to know if the “scrivener’s error” could have passed some who should have failed. Dismissing one bar examiner does not seem an adequate response to having had to throw out a section of the bar exam. One person should not able to make such a serious error that remains uncorrected by the testing procedures.

I have just about had it all - I think the whole exam needs to be reduced to a multiple choice questions. This is simply ridiculous. Here I am about to take the Alabama state bar exam again which is a three day ordeal - graded by 14 different people (AL/MEE/MPT) portion and they have the discretion of using the points sheets or NOT! Twice I have flunked by four points. Makes me go Hmmm too.
