Fred Thompson Kinda Got Kicked In The Balls

FITSNews – October 24, 2007 – We’ve only met Rudy Giuliani’s spokeswoman Katie Levinson once, but we have a strange desire to marry her all of a sudden. That’s because Levinson had the stones to offer the following quote responding to the new immigration plan offered by former U.S. Senator Fred Thompson, Giuliani’s main rival for the GOP presidential nomination:
Where was Fred Thompson when he had the chance to tackle illegal immigration and fix a broken system? He was voting against $1 billion to combat illegal immigration at the borders, against stricter employment verification and for giving illegal immigrants more benefits than we give legal immigrants.
Is all that true? Sure. Maybe. Actually, we don’t have a clue. Our views on immigration fall somewhere between “who gives a rat’s rear end” and “what would Barry Manilow do?” and as a result our coverage of the issue tends to be based solely on what this guy thinks. And we like Thompson a lot, we just mucho mucho like it when girls decide to get a sassy streak in them and bust boys in the balls. In fact, the only way Levinson could have made her quote any stronger would’ve been to attach a comic book illustration of herself hitting Thompson squarely in the vegetables with a big wooden mallet. THWACK! POW! KA-BOOM!

I find it ironic that Rudy’s campaign would be sending nastygrams about Thompson’s record on illegal immigration. Does the phrase “sanctuary city” make any lights turn on in the attic?
