South Carolina Voters – Smarter Than They Look
NEW PRESIDENTIAL POLL HAS SOME INTERESTING RESULTS … ON DISINTEREST
FITSNews – October 2, 2007 – So there’s a new poll out showing Fred Thompson and Rudy Giuliani leading the pack in the pivotal South Carolina GOP presidential primary. Which is about as surprising as gravity working. Or a sunrise. What we did find interesting about the latest Rasumussen survey of registered South Carolina voters was this little nugget about voter interest in the race:
Just 19% of South Carolina’s Republican Primary voters believe Thompson waited too long to enter the race. Three times as many, 57%, believe that the other candidates started campaigning too soon.
Rasmussen says these numbers jive with the results of a national poll they conducted recently. That survey found that 56% of Americans view the 2008 campaign as “annoying and a waste of time” and that 72% of them favor shortening it so that candidates are prohibited from campaigning more than a year in advance of the election.
Well duh! And people wonder why there’s so much Britney and Paris on our little website … we guess we just showed you doofuses, didn’t we?

Dern! Will, after you’ve made such an ass out of yourself so many times over the years, you up and finally post something that makes sense.
