CANDIDATES RAKING IN MILLIONS OF DOLLARS

FITSNews – October 2, 2007 – It would never occur to us to donate money to a presidential campaign – except maybe this one. But then again we’re not as “politically involved” as some people might think. Hell, we only voted once in our whole lives, people – and that was fifteen years ago.

Anyway, we’re apparently in the minority (editor’s note: surprised face) as the 2008 presidential hopefuls are raking in beaucoup dollars for their campaigns – led by New York Senator Hillary Clinton’s $90 million.

Yowzers. To put that $90 million in perspective, it’s more than twice the 2006 payroll of the entire Colorado Rockies baseball team, which beat Jake Peavy and the San Diego Padres last night to earn a spot in the NL Divisional Series.

UPDATE – Ah, yes, that is in fact the same picture from the infamous “Hillary cleavage” article. Which ironically was all about Hillary’s fundraising breasts, er efforts. Go figure.
