FITSNews - September 27, 2007 - With the mainstream media starting to dig into what motivates political bloggers, we figured we’d take this opportunity to clear up exactly where it is we’re coming from here at FITSNews.

It’s confusing, we know.

On the one hand we employ a crack news team to bring you the very latest breaking news and thought-provoking analysis from the wild world of South Carolina politics. Yet there’s also our founding editor Sic Willie, whose pathological inappropriateness seems to know no bounds.

Of course were it not for the Sic One, we probably never would have delved into the amazing stories behind Obama Girl, Hillary’s Lesbian Crush or the latest racy online political diva, “Liv” the Ron Paul stripper.

Obviously, we’ve derived our fair share of jollies from making fun of Ron Paul supporters, but that all came to an abrupt end last night when Sic Willie stumbled upon this remarkably-effective endorsement video.

Aye Cabana Boy, people! And the best part is that Liv promises to “take off even more” if Paul gets elected.

You know for some reason, we’re starting to appreciate the Texas Congressman’s libertarian leanings a whole lot more all of a sudden, so much so that we’re even on the verge of jettisoning our long-held belief that you can’t trust a man who has two first names, which seems awfully silly when you stop and think about it.

Additionally, we’re rethinking our purely professional, unbiased and data-driven assessment of Ron Paul’s chances in the upcoming GOP presidential primaries.

In fact, we’ve just been informed that the die-hard support of devoted volunteers like Liv has produced a noticeable rise in the most recent snapshot of Sic Willie’s poll.

Oh yeah … in addition to Liv’s political activism, she also has some helpful plumbing hints and dental hygeine demonstrations available on her website.
