The SC Realtors have spent a ton of money in the Senate 25 race supporting Bill Hixon. He has needed the help as the SCRG and Club for Growth crowd has been dumping all over Hixon. Imagine that someone who sticks by a friend when the run for office and you are punnished for loyalty later.

This guy is full of it. First of all, you have to have someone willing to run that is running hard inspite of the money. If they don't have the "fire in the belly" don't waste your money.

Secondly, they will give money to Dan Cooper and all the leadership, because that's what they will do. That's how things get done. This money will be used to buy influence. Period.

$2 milliion is nothing. Look at what the SCRG and Club for Growth has spent over the last 4 years. Look at what they got. Same ole, same ole.

These guys have 23,000 members. That's where the bread and butter is, not the do ra me. You put 23,000 butts calling legislators, writing legislators, and get their sorry asses to Columbia to rally and lobby one day. Then you will see a difference.

Money will only produce the same incompetance we have now. Reform SC will be a flop, if the Governor and his people do the same thing they have done for the last 6 years. They need a hard-ass political grassroots type of person recruiting and interviewing candidates before they start throwing money at them. They need to have candidates on the ground NOW. Not February or March.

I'm out.
