This issue is not only important for seniors but for the children of those seniors. The younger generation in the workforce is also looking at their parents retiring and aging and what that means for them. The lack of conversation on this topic should concern all voters because the issue has an effect on everyone.

The part about the upcoming labor shortage is interesting. Labor coming over the border can only do certain types of jobs. They are not typically nurses or accountants and the like. I am glad Andre is bringing up that issue. It gives the present day immigration a new light…and makes it looks even worse.

Lt. Governor Bauer understands the genius of Strom Thurmond. Good government is good politics.

He treats his people well. His constituent service is second to none. Personally, he works very hard. Seniors have a lot to be thankful for.

It is amazing to me that this is news. What you say, ole Willy boy, is true...buy painfully obvious.
Seniors are a huge voting bloc, and a presidential candidate can’t win without them. Business has just now figured out that seniors have the money…now it is time the politicians figure out seniors have the votes.

I guess it is like when Atwater discovered the Yuppies…it made perfect sense. But until he did, no one had given it a thought.

Another good post.

I am a senior and the candidates act as if we don't exist. Every once in a while they will throw us a bone, but usually they ignore us.

The Lt. Governor’s Office on Aging has helped me on two different occasions. I appreciate the good help as most state office are not helpful at all.
