FITSNews - September 1, 2007 - In what has to be the most surprising news story from like six months ago, former U.S. Senator Fred Thompson will announce next week that he is … gasp! … running for President of the United States of America. No way! Anyway, Thompson’s announcement tour will include a South Carolina swing on Sept. 10.

Holy hell we never saw this coming. Check the poker face on this guy!

Thompson was apparently timing his long-anticipated announcement for after Labor Day, which is when people supposedly start paying attention to politics. Of course here at FITSNews, Labor Day is when we start paying attention to people who are still wearing white shoes. And then killing them.
