HIZZONER LANDS CATCH FROM ROMNEY’S S.C. POLITICAL MACHINE?
FITSNews – August 23, 2007 – This is one of those political insider stories we could really give a rat’s rear end about except for the fact that it seems to make absolutely no sense. The news that Hizzoner Rudy Giuliani has hired Palmetto politico Heath Thompson is honestly about as exciting as the news that somebody kicked over an ant mound in our front yard, of course the last time we checked Thomson was the second “T” in TTS Political, the South Carolina managers of former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney‘s campaign.
So what gives? And more importantly, why the hell do we even care? Giuliani could have picked somebody out of a lineup at the Deaf & Blind school to run his campaign’s S.C. communications effort and they’d probably have a bigger impact than Thomson.
Our bet is Thomson’s job description with Team Hizzoner will probably be remarkably similar to what’s he done throughout his career, which is basically to sit very still and say “yes sir” or “yes ma’am” a lot, skills we understand he has honed to a science. If he’s lucky, they might even let him brew some coffee. Of course Thomson’s role at TTS was always a notch above that of current Romney campaign manager Terry Sullivan, whose responsibilities consist of crying a lot and telling people how important he is.

The deaf and the blind have come a long way in becoming more self-empowered and developing their own political voice over the past 30 or more years. I think that your comment regarding the students at the Deaf and Blind school is insulting and just plain stupid. Many of them are lot smarter than you.

Will, to help us keep the S.C. political consulting business straight in our minds, please list all of the Presidential candidates who have hired you and ViewPolitik. While you’re at it, also please list all the major political candidates who have hired you. Those who have fired you and who have been arrested don’t count. Looking forward to the list.

Are you blind????? Will Folks is working for Giuliani Thompson or McCain. It is so obvious. Go ahead Will and tell us that you love Bill Richardson!!!! He cut taxes!!!! Woooopeeeee!!! But it is a front for his REAL employer. Will is getting paid to spread lies about Mitt Romney. That has been common knowledge for months. Him saying he is supporting a Democrat is just his smokescreen so that he can continue to bash Romney and not drwa attention to himself.

Will, when writing a blog entry with the intent of “serving” someone at least proof read. Thompson v. Thomson and Giuliani could have picked somebody out of a lineup at the Deaf & Blind school to run his campaign’s S.C. communications effort and they’d probably have a bigger impact that Thomson. Maybe than that of Thomson?
