Converse Chellis Is Reporting For Duty
“SOCK PUPPET” READY TO DO BIDDING OF HIS BIG GOVERNMENT BOSSES
FITSNews – August 13, 2007 – S.C. Treasurer Converse “Sock Puppet” Chellis will attend his first State Budget and Control Board meeting on Wednesday, where it is widely anticipated that he will join House Ways & Means Chairman Dan “Egg-tooth” Cooper and Senate Finance Chairman Hugh “Little Digger” Leatherman in reinstating the board’s former Executive Director, Frank Fusco.
Cooper and Leatherman, who effectively used Fusco to administer a $46 million slush fund (among other taxpayer travesties) under the board’s purview, have regained their 3-2 “big government majority” on the board after the legislative election of the “Sock Puppet” to the Treasurer’s post last week.
FITSNews will be live blogging from the Budget and Control Board meeting this Wednesday at 2:00 p.m., and we may even bring a special new correspondent we just hired with us. His name is “Socky,” and let’s just say he’ll be there because it takes a sock puppet to interview one.

Will Chad Walldorf prevail as “The Governor’s Choice,” or is Frank Fusco going to give our Gubernator Boy Wonder a middle-fingered “Wet Willie?” Methinks Governor Sanfeld is going to take another humiliating dive to the mat.
You don’t tug on Superman’s cape, you don’t spit in the wind, you don’t pull the mask off the ol’ Long Ranger, and you never show up for a gunfight wielding a knife.
“Sanfeld” means never having to apologize for being just plain stupid.
