Preseason Don’t Count

PEYTON & CO. WILL BRING IT WHEN THE SEASON STARTS

FITSNews – August 10, 2007 – Yeah, yeah, yeah … so the Colts got beat by the Dallas Cowboys in a preseason game last night, prompting a deluge of anti-Indianapolis phone calls, text messages and e-mails from people who cheer for teams that are not the reigning Super Bowl champions. Or at least people wanting to taunt longtime Colts’ fan Sic Willie.

Well, in case anybody forgot, Indy was 0-4 last preseason prior to their Super Bowl run. That’s right, they didn’t win a single preseason game.

That’s because like the Iowa straw poll, preseason don’t count. Peyton & Co. will be just fine when the games that matter kick off …
