All others voted for Chellis. Only a few Representatives voted for Ryberg: Clyburn Haskins, Limehouse, Perry, D. C. Smith, J. R. Smith, Stewart All others voted for Chellis. He may get that we are such a backwards state that our legislature refuses to nominate an African-American who isn't part of their club on their way to elect a stooge of the status quo establishment who's first job is to fire the highest serving African-American in state government since Reconstruction. We could have $650 million over the next three years to put towards better causes but instead we'll waste it on taking care the legislature and their cronies through the Budget and Control Board. Wonder why Governor Sanford is so disliked in the General Assembly - its because he is a principled honest guy and they hate those qualities in people and are doing everything they can to prevent him from making any progress. Sure, Ryberg may get it.
