KHARMA, KHARMA, KHARMA, KHARMA, KHARMA CHAMELEON

FITSNews – July 17, 2007 - We’ve always accused former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney of being a flip-flopping dolphin, but we may have to get used to the term “Kharma Chameleon” after today’s revelation that he spent $300 on “makeup consulting.” From the Politico.com story:

“Communications consulting” is how presidential candidate Mitt Romney recorded $300 in payments to a California company that describes itself as “a mobile beauty team for hair, makeup and men’s grooming and spa services.” Romney spokesman Kevin Madden confirmed that the payments — actually two separate $150 charges — were for makeup, though he said the former Massachusetts governor had only one session with Hidden Beauty of West Hills, Calif. That was before the May 3 Republican presidential debate at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley, Calif., co-sponsored by MSNBC and The Politico.

Hidden Beauty? Holy hell. First John Edwards pays $400 for a haircut, now this. Guess our recent post suggesting these two fairy boys get together for a “Fakeoff” wasn’t too far off the mark. Who knows? Maybe if we’re lucky, they’ll get really angry with each other and a pillow fight will break out.

You find one of the top tier presidential candidates who doesn’t hire a make-up artist, and I’ll show you the deed to the Ravenel Bridge.

This is a non-story.

Will, how much is the Hizzoner paying you to write hit pieces on Romney and McCain? We all know Viewpolitik’s gotta pay the rent, but how ’bout a trip back to the good old days of equal opportunity sarcasm.

Geez-

Lighten up, bo. It’s all in good fun. We’ve dinged Hizzoner before, and we’ll no doubt ding him again. Of all the candidates running for President, though, Romney and John Edwards are by far the easiest to poke holes in.

For the record, Sic Willie is not on the payroll of anybody affiliated with the 2008 presidential race. Nor has he been, nor will he be. Remember, he runs an imaginary consulting firm with imaginary clients.
