Who?
JIM GILMORE EXITS PRESIDENTIAL RACE
FITSNews – July 15, 2007 - If you’re one of the five people in America who listed Jim Gilmore as your first choice for president … yeah, we’re sorry about that. The former Virginia governor officially withdrew from campaign 2008 yesterday. But before you get all bent out of shape, there are still ten other white guys in ties seeking the Republican nomination.
In fact, there are eleven if you count Sic Willie.
True our founding editor may have only raised $21.7, but he is still painfully white and owns about a dozen ties, so don’t count him out just yet. Like John McCain, his campaign also underwent a major shakeup last week when Chief Policy Advisor Inigo Montoya resigned in the wake of lackluster public enthusiasm for Sic Willie’s proposed Canadian Border Fence.

I liked Montoya’s style, but his creative breadth was essentially limited to:
“Hello! My name is (fill in candidate name here). You killed my father, now prepare to die.”
Sure, it may work in the upstate, but it is hard to build a national campaign around it.
A solid move by the Sic Willie campaign. Now, if he can only avoid getting involed in a land war in Asia, he still has a chance.
In any event, he’ll do better than McCain.
