THIS IS HOW WE DO IT IN BERKELEY COUNTY, SOUTH CAROLINA

FITSNews – July 4, 2007 - God Bless America, people. And God Bless Berkeley County, South Carolina, for holding a pre-Fourth of July parade that included a pink John Deere tractor. From the Berkeley Independent article:

The July 4th celebration got started early this year, when several hundred people lined Moncks Corner Main Street for the annual holiday parade, on June 30. This parade, which started about 25 years ago, commenced at 10 a.m. at Berkeley High School and continued down Main Street to Route 52. It included many contingents from fire trucks to John Deere tractors, to floats, to politicians and organizations. The theme of course, was red, white and blue.

Really? The theme was red, white and blue? Cause somebody obviously forgot to tell that to the lady driving the pink John Deere tractor. Usually at times like these that we say “Thank God for Mississippi,” but we may be officially S.O.L. this time.
