SATANIC VERSES AUTHOR GRANTS HOTTIE WIFE A DIVORCE
FITSNews – July 3, 2007 – In perhaps the least surprising divorce announcement ever, Indian superbabe Padma Lakshmi is splitting up with Satanic Verses author Salman Rushdie. No reason was given for the couple’s decision to terminate their three-year marriage, although it may have something to do with the fact that Lakshmi bears a striking resemblance to Venus and Rushdie looks a lot like Uranus.
In other news, finding a picture for this story was by far the most annoying Google Image search in history. The first time we tried it all we got was pictures of Ling Ling the Giant Panda eating raw fish, and the second time we tried it our computer actually spit at us and told us to go screw ourselves. Then it slapped us really hard and threatened to issue a Fatwah against us if we tried it again.
