Romney, Edwards Invited To Debate Over Who Is Biggest Hypocrite

THIS ONE COULD GO DOWN TO THE WIRE

FITSNews – June 4, 2007 – One is a richer-than-God Democrat who gets $400 haircuts and $55,000 speaking fees for discussing his views on poverty. The other is a richer-than-God Republican who has flip-flopped on practically every major policy position he’s ever held. God forbid either one of these intelligence-insulting con artists ever receive their party’s nomination for the presidency, but since our motto here at FITSNews is “better safe than sorry,” we figured we’d invite them both to settle the burning question of “who is the biggest hypocrite” in advance.

That’s right, FITSNews is proud to sponsor an exclusive hair gel-a-hair gel between John Edwards and Mitt Romney to determine which of these two candidates is more full of it. Sure, neither one of them is likely to make the final elimination round in the race for the White House, but watching their perfect hairdos bob up and down expressively sounds like a fun way to spend an evening.

We’ll have a dolphin tank on hand for Romney with plenty of mullet, mackerel, herring and cod nearby in case he gets hungry from flip-flopping all the time, and Sic Willie has graciously volunteered to serve as Edwards’ on-site barber for the duration of the evening in the event he needs a quick trim.

It’s not “hypocricy,” Willie, to say one thing and then say another, if you’re saying them at different times. That’s called changing your mind, and you can call that dishonest or cynical — but it’s not hypocricy unless you say one thing and say (or do) another at the same time. Just sayin’.

To flip one’s position isn’t a flip flop. a flip flop would require one to take a position; change it; and then revert back to the original position.
