PHOTOSHOP PROJECT PROVIDES ANOTHER OPPORTUNITY FOR FEMALE EMPOWERMENT
FITSNews – April 30, 2007 - You know if we had a nickel for everytime Sic Willie came into the FITSNews’ graphic design office and said “I want you to photoshop Kate Bosworth’s head on this girl’s body” we seriously wouldn’t need any of these advertisers … uhh … nevermind.
Anyway, having previously earned kudos for tackling the painful issue of anorexia with sensitivity and aplomb, we are always eager for the opportunity to empower women with additional information concerning this delicate subject.
For example, the girl in the leopard print bikini (above, left) is skinny. Kate Bosworth (above, right), on the other hand, is an upside down broom with arms. Knowledge is power ladies, so enjoy that dessert tonight.

If you think the girl on the left is skinny, then yes, your definition of skinny is WAY off. I would describe her as “cruvaceous”, but she appears to be fairly fit (hard to tell from that one pic). Kate is certainly skinny, but she still looks good (and healthy), and is certainly not a “broomstick”. Sounds you are a jealous fat person…

Not trying to be a jerk, but women in American culture continue to promote this ridiculous idea that being fat is healthy…It’s not…
Yes, yes, we all know anorexia is very bad..However, the woman on the left appears to be average and the one the right is borderline too skinny, but she’s not anorexic…
Overweight women: Stop trying to justify being out of shape by attacking every woman who is thin!!! Fat is unattractive, and being healthy, athletic, etc. is not…
Men have become a lot more accepting of women who are slightly overweight in our culture, and many of us, (myself included) actually prefer a woman who is 5-15 pounds overweight. However, you women continue to get 10 pounds heavier on average every year and demand that we accept morbid obesity as “sexy”…Anything beyond 10-20 pounds overweight is unhealthy and blaming your “slow metabolism” or demonizing other thin, more appealing women, isn’t going to make you any more attractive in men’s eyes…Nor make you a healthier, happier person…
