Let me preface this by saying the Pee Dee area makes little to no sense at all to me since I am a transplant from the upstate.

Having said that, as a green bean lover I am exited about this museum. I had always hoped to find others who share my love of green beans. Maybe this museum will become more of a social setting for people to learn to eat right in the heart disease capitol OF THE WORLD. Too many people here sit on their couch and eat bbq with a side of cornbread....They live to the ripe old age of 61 and wonder what more they could have gotten out of life. Had they visited the museum and realized the health in a diet including green veggies their life could have been a bit longer.

But seriously, there are not many things here people look back on and educate themselves about their own past besides a glorified (often unjustly) view of the antebellum south. This is a chance for people to learn about the history of this area and generations past. Two thumbs up!!

This is the crap that Gov. Sanford has been fighting against his entire term, but has been called anti-South Carolina for doing so. The state has taken in about one billion dollars in excess monies and they refuse to give it back to its rightful owner, the taxpayer. Leatherman is probably part cat also, he likes to like his own ass.
