Mitt’s Millions
THAT’S ONE RICH DOLPHIN, PEOPLE
FITSNews - April 2, 2007 - Amazingly, it turns out there’s actually one thing former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney doesn’t flip-flop on - taking people’s money.
In other words if you donate to Romney’s presidential campaign, he’s not going to change his mind and give it back to you - as evidenced by the $23 million he raked in during the first quarter of 2007.
Romney’s haul was tops among GOP presidential prospects and was eclipsed only by the $26 million mountain of money raised by Democratic frontrunner Hillary Clinton. Since we despise both of these candidates and wish we had a magic wand that could turn them into newts (not Gingriches, mind you), today’s news pretty much sucks. In fact, the only redeeming thing about it was finding the “rich dolphin” picture above, complete with the lego Guatemalan waiter. Because Mitt likes Guatemalan help.

Sounds like Huffington v. Feinstein all over again. I think Romney will last maybe through the next cycle then, poof!

Actually Clinton’s money isn’t broken down into primary funds and general election funds. Romney’s $23M is all for the primary, so most likely he outraised Clinton, who just got her big donors to double-dip.
