Strike Three?
S.C. GOVERNOR HOPES TO MAKE CONTACT WITH THIRD DHEC NOMINEE
FITSNews – February 22, 2007 - After striking out with environmentalists on Ralph Norman and striking out with business leaders on Edwin Cooper, Gov. Mark Sanford is going with Greenville developer Bo Aughtry as his next choice for Chairman of the Board at the State Department of Health and Environmental Control (DHEC), sources tell FITSNews.
Aughtry is … you know what, we TiVo’d Grey’s Anatomy tonight and f*ck it, we’re not going to write this blog. All you real reporters in the mainstream press can go to school on the tip (again), but we’re gonna go get our weekly McDreamy fix. Hmmmm. God is great, God is good, let us thank Him for our food.
Oh and governor, this would be what’s known as “Strike Three.” If you don’t make contact here, you’re what’s known as “Out.” Oh dammit nevermind. Mark Sanford wouldn’t know a sports analogy if one managed to navigate his incredibly tight sphincter, light a fire and start singing camp songs.
UPDATE - Sanford’s office says it’s sticking with Strike Two “as of right now.” But we’re not wrong people. Remember that. We’re never wrong. It’s just not how we roll.
