FITSNews – February 20, 2007 – It’s hard to get good help these days, unless of course your name is Sunny Phillips, the Crunchy Republican.

We discovered that this morning when we gave Sunny, one of our longtime favorite venti mocha frap gal pals, a ring to see when she could meet us for frozen treats.

“Sunny Phillips answering service, may I help you?” the familiar voice of SCGOP Chairman Katon Dawson came purring through the receiver.

Say what? Obviously, we were speechless.

“Ms. Phillips is busy right now, but I’ll make sure she gets your message and calls you back,” Chairman Dawson told us.

And she did, about an hour later, to confirm venti fraps for later in the week.

Seriously, Katon was pretty damn good. He’s definitely got a career as an executive assistant if this whole political gig doesn’t pan out.

Now all we gotta find out is if he makes coffee and can file and collate.
