EXPERTS AGREE – WITH EXCEPTION OF NIKKI HALEY, ROMNEY’S S.C. VIDORSEMENT “MUST NOT SEE YOUTUBE”

FITSNews – February 16, 2007 – If you hate yourself, hate your computer or just want to see how fast your political gag reflex takes to kick in, go ahead and click on this Mitt “Romneypalooza” music vidorsement link. That’s right, you’ll be feeling it as soon as that canned commercial beat that sounds like it’s coming from the Wal-Mart appliance aisle hits you. Uhhh. Yeahhhh!!!!

Whatever Team Romney was going for here, they didn’t get it. Truth be told, we haven’t seen anything this disturbing since Faces of Death II. Or those naked pictures of Janis Joplin.

We also haven’t seen anything this awkward since we wrapped production last week on “Love Connection – Department of Mental Health Edition,” a volunteer Valentine’s Day video treat we do every year for our special friends at the State Mental Hospital.

With the exception of State Rep. Nikki Haley’s segment, which actually made us want to vote for Romney (before we remembered it was Romney, anyway), this was the definitive S.C. political “Greatest Misses” album.

Sen. Jim DeMint proves once again he can’t even pull off “pretend charisma,” let alone the real thing, sounding only slightly less contrived and completely full of sh*t than he did in those illegal recorded phone calls he made for Romney last month.

Then we have Nathan Ballentine, whose gi-normous head takes up practically the entire screen (making it hard to concentrate on what he’s saying), followed by a gravely serious and gravelly sounding Greg Ryberg, who comes off a lot like the angry, broken, bitter, defeated man that he is.

Again, with the exception of Haley, these idiots could have made a more convincing vidorsement by pulling their pants down and talking to the camera through their asses.
