SOMEBODY OBVIOUSLY HASN’T READ THE LINER NOTES TO NINE INCH NAILS’ DOWNWARD SPIRAL
FITSNews – February 14, 2007 - For the record, Trent Reznor wrote the song “Hurt.” It was on Nine Inch Nails‘ breakthrough industrial rock album, The Downward Spiral, released in 1994.
Music legend Johnny Cash covered the tune eight years later on American IV – The Man Comes Around, accompanied by a bad ass Mark Romanek video.
Even Reznor himself will tell you that Johnny’s version is better, going so far as to say “that song isn’t mine anymore,” but Trent did write the song, people. Jeez. Newspapers. F*cking up. This stuff drives us CRAZY … so CRAZY.

WHAT? Who got it confused? Ima kill them… Grrr. Funny thing, when I first saw the title of this, I was gonna reply ‘what about me?’ Must be fate I clicked it, being I’m stuck up Trent Reznor’s ass.
