LAYER OF FRESH POWDER OVER 16″ BASE SHOULD MAKE FOR IDEAL CONDITIONS
FITSNews - February 12, 2007 - Somewhere beneath all that makeup is Christina Aguilera. But before every truck in the Los Angeles Fire Department is summoned to wash all that stuff off, we’ve got a deal you don’t want to miss.
For a limited time only, we’re running a special weekend package - a three-day lift ticket pass for just $150. Beat the Spring Break rush and reserve your ski weekend today!
WHAT’S UP WITH TUMP?
Carroll A. “Tumpy” Campbell III may be an idiot when it comes to port issues, but we thought he might at least be able to keep straight who he was supporting in the 2008 presidential primary.
Apparently not.
At a press conference this morning endorsing former Arkansas governor Mike Huckabee for president, Mike Campbell said that his elder brother was currently “uncommitted.” Which was odd, since we remember seeing a press release from several weeks ago indicating that Tumpy was on board Sen. John McCain’s Straight Talk Express.
“That’s just Mike trying to cover his a**,” a source close to McCain’s South Carolina campaign told FITSNews.
Hmmm.
NOT WASTING ANY TIME?
Who was chillaxing over some General Tso’s Chicken at Miyo’s on Main this afternoon other than newly-minted Budget and Control Board Executive Director Henry White and S.C. Club for Growth founder Chad Walldorf.
Walldorf, in case any of you have forgotten, was the primary architect of S.C. Gov. Mark Sanford’s activity-based executive budgets during his time as Deputy Chief of Staff in the Governor’s Office.
Looked to us like somebody was getting a crash course in “budgeting for results.”
CALLOUS? YOU DON’T SAY
If you’re going into the media or mass communications business, it doesn’t get any better than Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism in New York.
That’s why we ’bout fell out of our chairs when the highest of ivory towers took note of little old us in the online edition of the Columbia Journalism Review over the weekend.
“Callously written” was the term the CJR used to describe our recent suggestion that anyone who was offended by GM’s robot suicide ad should “just kill yourself.”
Really? Us, Callous?

Wait, I thought that was the natural color of her skin. What? Have I been fooled this whole time?
