WHAT THE HELL WAS NANCY THINKING?
FITSNews – February 8, 2007 – House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is getting all kinds of grief for accepting a bigger state-funded airplane than her predecessor, Denny Hastert. She’s also not helping the situation by mumbling a bunch of Air Forcese with Greta Van Whatever Her Name Is.
We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again, for all you politicians who obviously need to clear the wax out of your ears. This stuff is NOT rocket science. For example, we asked our waitress Maggie at lunch today whether or not she would have allowed the Air Force to give her a bigger plane after becoming Speaker of the House.
“I don’t know,” Maggie said. “Not if I knew it would get me in trouble later.”
Maggie for Speaker, people.

Good point. But why can I almost guarantee that Republicans will pretend like none of this happened? If a Republican tinkles on the toilet rim, Democrats go to public as though it was some dreadful abuse of constitutional government. But let some Democrat commit an outrageous political error like Pelosi’s latest, and it’s a fortnight before the Republican leadership is even aware of it. Just watch.
