Sic Willie Interviewed On The Hotline
NOT SURPRISINGLY, CONSULTANT’S “BEST CAMPAIGN MEMORY” IS SOMETHING ENTIRELY INAPPROPRIATE
FITSNews – January 17, 2007 – We weren’t going to provide a link to Sic Willie’s latest ego-trip over on the Hotline this morning, but it is all about the hits here at FITSNews and for whatever reason, he brings them to us.
In addition to this latest bombast, we are also investigating a rumor that Folks may have actually parked his 1997 Infiniti Q45 (which may or may not be “street legal” at the moment) in a fairly visible spot in the State House parking garage – the one marked “Reserved For The Governor.”
UPDATE - Rumor confirmed.

Hey, for the record, I was not involved in the July 4 golf cart incident. I can’t believe you would try to drag me down with your and C. Tyson’s fiascoes.

Don’t taint Johnny with your moustache and inappropriate parking

Daniel,
Thank you for setting the record straight.
It is extremely likely that you are, in fact, correct. We do not believe that either Sic Willie or C. Tyson were in full possession of their faculties beginning at around 10 a.m. that day and proceeding (deteriorating?) onward.
Unfortunately, it was either this relatively harmless anecdote or a regaling of Sic Willie’s “Sandy Bed Tour” of that front beach Isle of Palms house which accurately answered the question. And Lord knows even Will Folks wasn’t about to discuss the Sandy Bed Tour.
We hear Scott English is still blowing gaskets over that one, though.

I resigned myself to being a party of the July 4th story many years ago, so no harm there.
Ah yes, the sandy bed tour. Sic Willie really “laid waste” to the Lowcountry back in those heady days.
