FITSNews – January 6, 2007 - Check out what we were just sent – GOP Presidential candidate Mitt Romney has his own Boston Red Sox baseball card.
We’re not kidding … but then again the picture of it above probably demonstrates that we’re not kidding. Because you know, there it is and everything.
Anyway, the card lists him as “Former Governor, Massachusetts” and describes him as “a dedicated fiscal and social conservative with a commitment to American ingenuity and American values.” It also talks about how he has an “innovative health care plan that guarantees coverage for all citizens.”
We’ve never seen politicians on trading cards before, but Mitt Romney’s people may be on to something here. Seriously, who wants a boring old business card from somebody when you can get a cool baseball card instead?
