… OR DO IT, DEPENDING ON HOW YOU FEEL
FITSNews – January 6, 2007 – A little over two months after losing wife Reese Witherspoon and their two beautiful kids to his cheating heart, actor Ryan Phillippe has apparently started phase one of the public relations campaign to woo her back.
“Woo” being one of our all-time least favorite words, by the way. Just behind “Ryan” and “Phillippe.”
Honestly, we’re surprised it took him this long. Jerk. And even though we should have been totally prepared for this like a month ago, we still really don’t know what to tell our girlfriend Reese to do.
That’s because when you get right down to it, there’s really no right answer when it comes to telling girls what they should do when guys cheat and then want to come back, whether it’s been three months or three years.
That song “Thin Line Between Love and Hate” comes to mind. Actually, no it doesn’t because we currently have Etta James‘ “Roll Wit Me Henry” in our heads. But the title did come to mind. So that sort of counts.
Anyway, Reese probably still loves Ryan a great deal, but at the same time there’s a chance she might want to take a stiletto through one of his testacles.
“Miss Type A” just has to make a decision. There’s nothing wrong with her giving Ryan another chance if she thinks he is truly sorry, but the real issue is “trust” and whether or not that will ever be there again in this relationship.
If Reese thinks trust could blossom again, she should go for it. If she doesn’t feel that in her heart, she should let Ryan talk to the hand. Or the middle finger.

I still can’t believe that Ryan cheated on Reese. They made such a beautiful couple and they had everything going for them. If they really love eachother and if he is truly sorry then I hope they get back together, but like you said TRUST is magic word. We will just have to see what the future has in store for both Reese and Ryan.
