Bojangles Is Feeling the Holiday Spirit
SIC WILLIE GETS EXTRA CAJUN-STYLE FRIED CHICKEN BREAST FOR WAITING PATIENTLY ON MAC & CHEESE SIDE ORDER
FITSNews - December 26, 2006 - God Bless Bojangles.
As if offering ten pieces of its tender, juicy and delectable fried chicken (Cajun or Southern-style) and five piping hot buttermilk biscuits for $9.99 was not already the soul of benevolence, there was a little extra holiday cheer in the air this evening at one particular franchise in South Carolina.
Not only was regular drive-thru patron Sic Willie advised that he could add three sides and a half-gallon of Sweet Iced Tea for only $5 more (an offer he immediately accepted), but a brief wait for his second order of Macaroni & Cheese was rewarded with an extra cajun-style chicken breast. A particularly plump one, in fact. So plump it came in its own box.
“Sorry for your wait and Merry Christmas!” Sic Willie was told.
Merry Christmas indeed, friends. Merry Christmas indeed.
