Adopt-A-Pet This Holiday Season
GET A RESCUE DOG THIS HOLIDAY SEASON AND RING IN THE NEW YEAR WITH A NEW FRIEND
FITSNews - December 24, 2006 - Meet Forest.
He’s one of hundreds of animals who’ve been given a second chance at life thanks to groups like SQ Rescue, a Columbia S.C.-based volunteer animal rescue and placement service.
Won’t you help him make the most of it?
Forest got hit by a car when he was just a puppy and had to have surgery on his hind leg. He’s now 10 months old and almost completely healed. He loves going on walks and riding in the car and is very well-behaved.
We wrote about SQ Rescue and its amazing founder, Mary Key Escue, on the original FaithInTheSound website awhile back, telling you the uplifting story of Todd and his successful adoption.
Will you help us make another story like that possible? Rescue dogs are the best because they’re so grateful to have found a home, and what better way to ring in the new year than with a new friend?
SQ rescue will be bringing several of its dogs to the Petsmart on Two Notch Road in Columbia, S.C., on Saturday, December 30 from noon until 4:00 p.m.
For more information about Forest or any of the SQ Rescue dogs, please call 803-788-1889 or e-mail klangley@sc.rr.com.
